“A Community Where no Neighbor Faces Life’s Challenges Alone”

- Our Vision -

“My mother taught me that the front porch is more than a place—it’s a way of being. Every morning she sat outside with her coffee, greeting neighbors, offering a kind word, and showing up with steady, uncomplicated love. She believed deeply that being a good neighbor could change the world one person at a time.”

“The Front Porch Project carries that belief forward. We exist to ensure that no neighbor walks through hardship alone—whether they are a caregiver, a grandparent raising children, a family navigating crisis, or a child facing serious illness. Our work is simple, but powerful: we show up, we listen, and we extend the kind of hospitality that has been passed down through generations of women in our family.”

“This organization is a living tribute to the porch where we all learned what love looks like in practice. My hope is that everyone who encounters this project feels what our family has always felt—belonging, comfort, and the assurance that there is always a porch light on for them.”
